Due to recent changes made in the Office of Personnel Management Classification Standard for the GS-0701 occupational series, we are forwarding the attached revised version of the Qualification Standard that incorporates the applicable changes.
Accordingly, we have changed the title of this series to Veterinary Medical Sciences series, added the series definition, and deleted the specialty of "Emergency Response."
A copy of the final standard is enclosed for your immediate use. This new standard supersedes all previous versions of standards for the 0701 occupational series, including the standard issued in April 2006. In the near future, we will post the attached qualification standard on the Office of Personnel Management website at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications.
